First of all there has been so many mixed reviews for the Hotel Majestic that we have written this honest reveiw on what we saw and experienced. We travelled as a large family ages raging from 14 to 74, we had four rooms so we feel that we can give an honest view. The rating for this hotel was three star but feel it should be a two star and that's because of its location. We had also made the mistake of half board. Breakfast: all the reviews about breakfast seem to be correct. We knew it would as we have all been to Turkey numerous times. Evening maeals, if that's what you call it, if you want to lose weight book half board! We had informed the hotel prior to arriving that there was a vegetarian in our family and would require veggie meals. First night we were served fish, no choice, like it or leave it so we left it. Second night was meat stew, again told staff that we need a veggie meal but the staff served the vegetarian the same meal as the rest of us, we explained that she needed a meal without meat, the staff removed the plate to the kitchen and picked out the meat and put some tomatoes on the side, I kid you not. The third night we asked for an omelette for a vegetarian meal only to get the response you don't eat chicken???!!!! After that we ate out. Some of the othe holiday reveiw website say thanks Ozzy for a great holiday and a great time (He's the bar manager) who loves the women so if you want to be the next notch on his bedpost, ladies, let him work his charm. Dads, lock up your daughters!!! As it was the end of the season there is no Turkish night just Turkish football on TV which Ozzy watches and I dare you ask him for a drink when he's watching football and if you're only drinking a soft drink then make sure you're not thirsty. Rooms were infested with ants, very basic no mini bar, comes with cold shower in the morning and run the shower for 20 minutes on a night until it gets warm. Dirty bath towels and bedding. Money, clothing and toiletries taken whilst we were there. Would we go again? NO!!!

We arrived at the Hotel Majestic at very early hours and the hotel staff were very helpful with an escort to our room. Our room was clean & there was plenty of space for me and my two sisters. Our room was on the 2nd (top) floor of the 2nd block on the back corner, we had 2 balconies which worked out well because we only had the sun on our room in the morning. Maids cleaned regularly. Our toilet seat was cracked, after complaining it was changed the same day. Pool was of medium size although adequate. Cleaned on a daily basis. Food was always fresh & plenty of variety for the evening meal. Tarik & Ozzy were the guys at the bar, making everyone feel welcome. They both have good memories as after ordering our first drink we didn't have to repeat it, they knew. Turkish Night was very good, had BBQ round the pool, staff made a great deal of effort. A word of warning: Don't wear your best clothes or shoes to this if your going to stay around after the caberet, most people ended up in the pool including the staff who instigated it. Olu Deniz beach was fantastic, always plenty of sun beds & parasols (payable), beach is not sand, when nearer to the waters edge it is painful underfoot, recommend you buy beach shoes, available from any of the beachside shops. You can book paragliding with several different companies along the front. Went on 2 boat trips, 1st was a daytime trip around Olu Deniz coast line (incl. BBQ), plenty of swim & beach stops. Drinks available onboard (payable). 2nd was the sunset cruise with BBQ, don't blink you may miss the sunset as the boat was moving at the time. Booked these with Guide Tours. Bused into Hisaronu one evening, seemed to have a few more night clubs for younger people, a bright & lively place. All in all a great holiday & we'll all be going back.
