Disgusting Hotel Rooms - Cody. Date of travel: May 2008
Ground Floor staff and appearance were very nice; bedrooms were disgusting. In my room, the wall paper was peeling and drawn on in some parts, cigarette burns in the bed covers, tub wasn't cleaned, tea pot still had tea in it from the previous user, all around a very gross experience. I also had a ghostly encounter during the night - unexpected as the building doesn't seem that old. However, it is Scotland. I wouldn't recommend this to any of my friends. The restaurant was fantastic though. Odd combination.
