I found the Whitehall Hotel to be an excellent value - we booked for around $120/night, well below comparable hotels in downtown Chicago. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was nice, beds extremely comfortable. Small bathroom, but nice. Overall very clean - but the hotel did show its age somewhat. Location is fantastic, just steps away from the Water Tower, Hancock building and magnificent mile. Overall recommended for a good value, great location, and nice accommodations - but don't expect a Four Seasons.
