TREASURE ISLAND RESORT AND CASINO HOLIDAY REVIEWS
Treasure Island Resort And Casino, Las Vegas
Treasure Island Resort and Casino is Great! - Valerie Mellema. Date of travel: May 2006
On my first trip to Vegas, I went with my fiancé. The trip was a last minute idea and we had to act fast on getting a room. We book Treasure Island during the weekdays when it was cheaper and the Circus Circus on our last night, which was a weekend night when other strip hotels get really expensive. Anyhow, the rooms were great and very elegant. Plus, when you stay at Treasure Island you get a special standing area for the pirate ship show in the front of the hotel. You just present your room key to the security guard and you get to stand in a roped off area where it is a lot easier to see the show and take pictures. If you just walk in from off the street you have to fight the crowd to see the show. The buffet here is great as well. They have a pasta bar that I loved where you tell them what kind of pasta and sauce you want and the chef cooks up right there for you. Mmm…tortellini and pesto! The desserts are also great and they even have a little donut making machine. This year, although we weren't staying at Treasure Island we purchased tickets for Zumanity. It's a great Cirque du Soleil show and the same one in the movie Knocked Up. Awesome show! Tour Operator: Hotelscombined.com
