The Azalea Plantation Bed & Breakfast was beyond my exspectations. The Southern Plantation home is on 2 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with a Gazebo in the "Meadow" side of the 3 story house. Large Oaks and Magnolias set this off well and the shad gardens and other flower beds are just "breath taking". The Victorian decor is very comfortable but the BUFFET BREAKFAST in the elegant dinning room with a beautiful Rose design leads up to the IMPRESSUVE CHINTZ CHINA displayed in a 20 ft. long ceiling high china cabinet built in the room. The King Beds and Whirlpool tubs for 2 are wonderful. We enjoyed the stay so much I didn't want to leave as the host and hostess were extremely nice and helpful in finding all the best of the 10 Museums and other great places to dine on superb food. I recommend this for any traveler even those from on the Dallas side of the area for a very pleasant GET AWAY even for 1 evening but there is so much to see and do, REALLY A COUPLE NIGHTS IS BEST TO KEEP FROM FEELING YOU ARE LEAVING WHEN YOU HAVE JUST BEGAIN TO UNDERSTAND WHERE ALL THE GREAT SHOPPING AND MUSEUMS ARE LOCATED.
