There is something about walking barefoot on a white sand path dotted with parrafin lamps to a room lit entirely by candles and more lamps... Although it is tempting to wish for hot water on tap it is refreshing to stay in a lodge where your smallest need is attended to while your shower water is produced only when you need it.
