Antigua is a fantastic holiday destination, with year round hot weather. St Johns, the capital city, is an experience, especially if you're like me and love diamonds! The Antiguan people are on the whole, friendly.

I stayed at the Jolly Beach resort in Antigua. Antigua itself was paradise! Beautiful white soft sands and clear turquoise blue warm waters. The capital of Antigua, St Pauls, has a shopping mall which has many duty-free bargains plus souvenir shops. The Jolly Beach resort was amazing. I stayed in a standard room which had a king size bed, very clean and spacious over looking the fantastic gardens. The hotel offered many sporting activities, windsurfing, snorkelling, waterbikes and many more. The hotel had 5 restaurants including buffet style and Indian. There is a barbeque for lunch and a swim uo bar. The hotel also offers tea and cakes late afternoon which I thought was very nice for a snack before dinner. There was evening entertainment every night, dancing, singing, theme nights and a game room. I would recommend the Jolly Beach resort to any one looking for a fantastic hotel with excellent facilities and as its good value for money.

Anguilla is my favorite place in the world. It is so fabulous, I bought a villa there! My business does not allow me to live there full time, so I rent the villa to allow others to enjoy the soft whisper of constant sea waves and spectacular views. Visit my website at BlissVilla http://www.bliss-villa.com and see why Anguilla is the only place I vacation.

We stayed at the Grand Pineapple Beach Hotel on the Island of Antigua which is situated on a lovely white sand beach and has staff which cannot do enough for you to make your stay special. There are three resturants to choose from including A la carte, also the hotel hosts weekly BBQ's which are great fun and tasty! Our room was very spacious and clean(ocean view)and had great views. I would highly recommend the full day excursion on a boat which circumnavigate's the island and provides the opportunity to snorkell in the crystal clear waters - i did it and it was fantastic! Also don't miss Shirley Heights the views are the best i've ever seen-and the Rum Punch isn't bad either!

Antigua and Anguilla are fabulous islands, Antigua has many beautiful beaches and a good selection of 3-4 star hotels, where as Anguilla the scenery just takes your breath away, luxury resort hotels along the whitest sandy beaches I have ever seen. Tour Operator: Simply Caribbean

Antigua and Barbuda - Well worth a visit, we are already planning a return trip. At the end of our trip, I lost my purse at the airport and Corren Abbot, who has a store at the airport with t-shirts, books etc., found it and called me, then mailed it to me. What a lovely lady... please give her some business if you can.
