Wife & Mother in law booked & paid before left from Australia to do an Island Tour and City Tour with a local tour operator in Bahrain. On both occasions each day no Tour Operator showed up to pick them up. The tour operator wouldn't answer the phone. Gulf Air just weren't interested in being any help or assistance at all leaving them in tears stuck in the hotel. What is the point of making a special side trip to a country when you're unable to see it in the two days you have there. Full compensation will be expected from Gulf Air for Tours paid for not received, hotel & food costs for two days and numerous phone calls. I'm sure they'll offer all expenses paid return flights back to the country to try and repeat this disaster. Overall I would AVOID BAHRAIN AT ALL COSTS AND NEVER FLY GULF AIR AND ESPECIALLY DON'T GET THEM TO ORGANISE ANY DAY TOURS. I hope this helps someone else avoid these sad disasters. Tour Operator: Harvey World Travel & Gulf Air
