• DENMARK HOLIDAY REVIEWS

Denmark
A watery country in northern Europe, covering a peninsula and 482 islands, Denmark is usually identified by its lovely capital, Copenhagen, and its massive summer Roskilde music festival. Those who holiday in Denmark, however, are well advised to explore the pretty rural landscape, sprinkled with farming villages and shiny lakes, and its miles of wildmore
I loved Denmark - Susan Green. Date of travel: Jun 2009
It was an amazing experience when I, along with my two friends, visited Denmark. The capital city of Denmark, Copenhagen is home to many famous sites and attractions. We visited Tivoli Gardens, Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace, Copenhagen Cathedral, Rosenborg Castle, Opera House etc. It's really a nice country to visit….
Amazing! - Morten Friis. Date of travel: Aug 2006
Had the pleasure of visiting Denmark for 2 weeks in August 2006 and had a fantastic time. I recommend renting a car and driving between the different cities as you get to see the green (and very clean) countryside. Remember to prebook your car as you tend to get better rates if booked through a travel agent overseas!

The Little Mermaid really is that - little! I had been expecting something a bit more impressive and almost missed her, but the statue is just one of those things you have to see when in Copenhagen.
