I love Brunei - Cedric. Date of travel: Jan 2003
Brunei is a wonderful, safe, peaceful country. There is much to discover in this tiny Kingdom but lovers of the mysterious far east will be at home here. From trips on the river among the stilt houses where about 65,000 people live to the pristine jungle adventures you will never be left wanting. The inexpensive variety of foods is also an adventure in itself, from Malay, Chinese, Phillipino and western dishes you will never be hungry but always spoiled for choice. I am a South African who lived in Brunei for 5 years and it is an adventure waiting to happen. Most Bruneians speak good English and love to share their lives with tourists so it is easy to get around here. Be prepared for the tropical heat though as temperatures average 32degrees with lots of rain! Correspond with me if you would like advice on Brunei or South Africa cedric@batusienergy.co.za
