Suggestion for Kuwait's visitors - S.H. Date of travel: Aug 2006
I'm a Kuwaiti, I think that if ur coming to Kuwait, u have to go to the beach, there are a couple of resorts where you can rent a room or chalet, enjoy jet-skis, and water sports. Al-Khairan resort will even take you on trips to near-by islands (not tropical ones obviously but the water is excellent and worth it) Enjoy!

Brilliant!
Brilliant absolutely brilliant... had evrything you wanted from accommodation to great service which is comparable to Europe and the States and the weather, although hot but that's the way we liked it (went with friends); similar to Dubai and the Gulf states. The locals are very friendly and courteous towards their guests; the exchange rate is reasonable £2=1kd roughly. Only down side is no alcohol for those that enjoy to have a drink. Kuwait was much the same as I remembered it from when I was tiny (3 years old to be exact). I thought I would find great changes since the war and since I have been out of that country for 33 years. It still possesses its original rustic charm with the exception of a few grand malls which offer the latest in fashion, food and fun. Kuwait still has its beauty but I was glad to return home to good old "New Dubai". Tour Operator: Concept Tours
