Trip to Islamabad - Morar_UK. Date of travel: Jul 2008
My trip to Islamabad was to meet a few people and finalize a business deal. Overall, I really liked my visit and I found some interesting places to see. My stay at the guest house was at a very decent and friendly location and I was being helped by Mr. Karim Meghji to explore the city. Islamabad has some good places to visit such as Rawal Lake, Daman-e-koh, Shakar parian and a few others. There is a food market, few minutes down from where I stayed and they have most of the restaurant branches centrally available at one place and a Menu book to choose from any dish from any restaurant available at the food market.
I would definitely like to go to Islamabad again depending on my schedule and vacation plans.

Kashmir - DJ Fani . Date of travel: Dec 2007
Kashmir on Pakistan side is one of the most beautiful parts of the world. It is similar to Siws. People over there are very innocent and helpful. I really enjoyed when went to Kotli, there is one town Fagoosh which is the most beautiful place I ever saw in my life. I'm from Spain and my English is not good, so sorry if I make mistake.

I loved Pakistan - Topcat. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Enjoyed the stay, but heard local Lahori Pakistanis were being abducted and tortured by the CIA (in conjunction with the ISI), on mere hearsay, hence the recent riots between the Government and the Judiciary, in particular the Judge who questioned such disappearances - I think he has been reinstated now..), so be careful, especially if you're from the US (or indeed the UK, as the commercial rape of Iraq is still fresh in the minds of the Sunni folk in this country).

The most beautiful country I have ever visited and the friendliest of people. Flew BA to Islamabad and I travelled to Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Muree, Lahore and Peshawar. Really good hotels and guest houses everywhere that make you feel at home and they always do thier very best to oblige. The Pashtun (pathan, pakhtun, pashtoon) people are fiercely proud but fiercely hospitable too - I have never drunk so much green tea in my life and the barbeque food is wonderful. I met Afghan people too - also Pashtun - in Peshawar also very friendly and kind. Go see for yourself - it may not be France or Florida but if thats what you prefer then you are seriously missing out on a cultural and travel experience. Go Pakistan :) Tour Operator: None - I did it myself
