We went to Alphonse Island, Seychelles. The swimming and the sea life was fantastic. The beaches were white and the water was a clear blue. We saw all types of fish as well as turtles and barracudas. it was an unforgettable experience.

The destination is like no other I've been to. It has a magical soothing affect, once you land in Mahé. I loved Praslin, its my favourite of the islands. The beaches are spectacular and the water is crystal clear. You can really swim with the fish and see them. The sudden down pours are great. They help keep you cool. It was the most relaxing holiday I've ever taken. You really can't stress! A real blessing is there is no traffic. Bicycles are a common form of transport, for locals and tourists alike. La Digue is also a special island. The ox-drawn carts are great but you really should cycle. Nothing like it! Its a tiny island - its a short ferry trip from Praslin. A day is sufficient. The prices are actually better here then on the bigger islands. Seychelles is really a 'once in a lifetime' destination - it's a paradise and if you ever have the opportunity to go - grab it. I spent a magical time in the Seychelles , hopping from one island to another.I have never visited islands like these , really magical, beautiful idyllic beaches with miles of natural scenery , you can swim with dolphins or sun bath with the turtles. I would suggest that you do 3 or 4 islands during your holiday staying for around 3 nights at each. Tour Operator: Elite
