US Virgin Islands
There are 60 islands making up the archipelago of the US Virgin Islands, most of which are uninhabited. The busy large islands, however, are equipped to feel like a home from home for American vacationers, particularly St Thomas, site of the busy harbour capital, Charlotte Amalie. Elsewhere there are quaint Danish colonial touches, and plentymore of Caribbean colour. Collectively, all the islands offer some of the world’s most beautiful shorelines and untouched tropical rain forest.
