ZAMBIA HOLIDAY REVIEWS
Zambia
Visitors to Zambia will soon agree that a country cannot be judged by its capital city: in this case the city of Lusaka is rather unappealing and dilapidated, but beyond it lies a vast, warm-hearted country bursting with adventure. The main attraction are the Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River, but on holiday in Zambiamore

The warm heart of Africa - Suzie Jones. Date of travel: Feb 2008
I heard a legend about the reputation of the people of Zambia. And they certainly lived up to it. Genuinely warm, friendly and interested in welcoming us to their country I think they have had a hand in turning it into a premier tourist destination during the last decade. The amount of poverty outside the major tourist areas can be a little shocking once you look past the smiling faces - although we didn't experience any of it we were told that although violent crime is extremely rare, opportunistic crime is a reality which a healthy application of common sense will obviate. It is a country that welcomes the adventurous visitors - but might infuriate the less audacious traveller as service can be slow - happiness is expected to be found in the fact that the drink is available and not in the fact that it arrives speedily! If what you want is Africa ... your wish will be granted. Tour Operator: Hotelscombined.com

The people are great. Definately recommend the white water rafting and the helicopter flight over the falls. Tour Operator: Acacia

You can camp or stay in chalet type accommodattion. Sits on the banks of the Zambezi River. We had hippos walking around the site at night. It is close to all all activities and is clean. The only thing is that you need to lock all food away, because there are monkeys throughout the camp who steal everything. Tour Operator: acacia
