• GOLD COAST HOLIDAY REVIEWS

Gold Coast
The shoreline of Australia stretching from Brisbane, capital of Queensland, to the northern border of New South Wales is known as the Gold Coast. Not only are the endless beaches golden, but so is the weather, drawing the holiday crowds to fill the many high-rise resorts with their theme parks, good restaurants, lively nightlife, andmore
Great Holiday Destination - But select accomodation Carefully - Lamb Family. Date of travel: Feb 2010
Always a holiday favorite with my family. Plenty of things to do - beach, mountains and theme parks.
I love Gold coast - Ramtin. Date of travel: Apr 2009

Fun and enjoyable for everyone - Natalie. Date of travel: Jun 2008
The Gold Coast is fun for all ages. There is plenty to do. The beach is beautiful and the sand is always clean. All the theme parks are great and well worth it. For shopping we always love going to Harbourtown.
Gold Coast - Chris and family. Date of travel: Aug 2007
Loved the Theme Parks and the shopping on the Gold Coast. Disliked weather (it rained 3 days straight!) and spent $240 on bus passes which was a waste of money and time. Great for kids.
Relaxing Trip to Gold Coast - Nathalie Norris. Date of travel: Apr 2006
Took the Air Train from Brisbane Airport to Nerang and then taxi to our Hotel.. Quite enjoyable trip by Air Train.. Gold Coast is full of Service Apartments and Hotel especially alongside the Beach. We had 5 days 4 nights stay. Surfer Paradise Beach was wonderful for relaxing and watching the ocean..But we did find the birds a bit of annoying especially when you were eating in the open space. Currumbin Wildlife Park was one of our fave spot due to its landscape and unique animals to Australia but we wish it add in more animal variety or numbers of it. A bit of dissapointment was the Kangaroo Area, it was quite difficult to walk around with those 'drops' not being cleaned up. We took local bus during our trip and the service was great but waiting time could take up to 30 mins so knowing the timing is crucial. Our advice though to take the bus during weekend with its half priced fare compared to weekdays. Movie World had interesting attractions from Warner Bros Movie & Enjoyable most to us was Shrek 4D Adventure but we hope it will expand its attractions in future...Pricing a bit overwhelmed on AUD 62/person. We only went to Sea World after this as Dream World is more for children activities. Sea World did provided hilarious and entertaining show by Dolphins and Sea Lion... We found this by coincidence, visit Surfer Paradise on Wed and Fri nights for its Night Market with local artists having their product..I bought a bottle painted with Surfer Paradise depiction and had our date on it, lovely... For Shopaholic, just go to Pacific Fair, it was best and worth your trip in my opinion.. Met rude retail assistants at Target and few stores but others was warmingly welcoming us to their stores.. Good Relaxing Trip but 2-3 days will be sufficient in Gold Coast... Tour Operator: None
