I had a beautiful bank holiday weekend in Brussles didnt I? It was awsome wasn't it? I took my Girlie, she thought it was great. Best of all the whole thing only cost me forty bar didnt it? It's so much better than Rome or Greece, or even Barcelona, aint it?

Our experience with the front desk personnel put a bad spin on our whole Brussels experience. Grand Place is impressive but the young women beggars in the street with their babies was extremely upsetting. Going down Rue des Bouchers where the waiters are practically begging you to come in is a turn off.

One good fantastic place to go for mussels in Burssels is the Leon fish bar-as for their speciality dish the Leon plate. Only€25! Marvellous!

My wife and I drove to Brussel for a weekend getaway 15 and 16 July. We stayed at the Atlas Hotel near the Bourse. The city has many interesting historical buildings and was quite interesting. Sadly our locked car was vandalized and our personal belongings were stolen in broad daylight (between 1200 and 1800 PM) after we relocated it from secure overnight parking. This was also accomplished within a few meters from a nearby police station! The audacity of the local youth was astounding. Tour Operator: None
