Potosi - Steve Wright. Date of travel: Feb 2008
Potosi - What a lovely historic city full of grand buildings and churches. At one time Potosi was the capital of the world with its rich silver mines. So sad to see it now with its decaying elegant buildings that need repair and a painting (some unfortunately are now being demolished, unthinkable in England). Good hotels, clean and welcoming. Lots of taxis and good food found everywhere, along with warm and friendly people.
