GRAND CAYMAN HOLIDAY REVIEWS
Grand Cayman
A favourite port of call for Caribbean cruise lines, Grand Cayman is packed with natural attractions as well as being the site of the small, but bustling, capital of the Cayman Islands, George Town. Banking is big business here, but the wealth is not ostentatious and the island remains a pleasant, low-key holiday spot centredmore

Cobalt Coast Dive Resort - Keith and Robin Fite. Date of travel: Apr 2009
I loved the experience of this small but comfortable resort. We stayed for a week. The meals were good and the staff was friendly and available. I enjoyed the comfort, yet not the crowd of a luxury hotel. The staff treated you like you had been there for many years. They were all on first name basis by the end of the week. The Diving was overwhelming. WOW!! The staff at DiveTech were incredible. I have been a diver since 1979 and they were very professional. I had the pleasure of diving with most of the staff. They showed professionalism and skill in several instances. Once a diver, had some trouble. The guide that trip simple singled him from the group and settled him down, most of the other divers never had a clue there was a problem. Another day, we had the "Joe Diver" on the boat. He had one problem after another with his geer, they worked out all the problems and everyone had a great dive. The most remarkable day happened when we were sunning, could not dive due to our flight schedule. A client at the hotel had MS, she took a course with the DiveTech and it was beautiful to watch. The instructor was so patient with her, she did two dives that week. Thanks, Robin Fite

Heaven & Hell - Dan Wheeler. Date of travel: Feb 2006
We started out this vacation by doing some research on www.caymanhomepage.com and booked our travel with their sister company www.chptravel.com and everything went spectacular there. We arrived on the Island to the sounds of steel drums like something out of a dream or Fantasy Island. We took a taxi over to the hotel and the driver was great. The conversion rate is something you'll have to get use to but the good part is US dollar is accepted everywhere. The recommendations by the gentleman from www.caymanhomepage.com was right on. He said try the Stingray City trip and take a day to go to Rum Point and I wouldn't regret it. God I never saw so many Stingray's in one place at one time. At first I was scared stiff but then people were going in and swimming with them and touching them. They were completely tame and what needs to be understood is this was in the ocean not in a facility. These were tamed wild creatures enjoying us as much as we did them. I would say my trip was way more than I expected to ever have and I will be back probably next year. Everything went well: the travel tickets were not that expensive, the hotel was great, the people were great and the Island is amazingly safe. Tour Operator: chptravel.com
