ISLA GRANDE DE CHILOÉ HOLIDAY REVIEWS
Isla Grande De Chiloé
Chile’s largest offshore island lies only a few kilometers from the mainland, but nevertheless has remained historically isolated, lending it a curious atmosphere redolent with myths and legends that are enhanced by its rustic charm and almost perpetual fog. A holiday on Chiloé is a unique and unusual experience in a culture and natural environmentmore

Chiloe was such a different experience from the rest of Chile and felt like another country. The people were quite shy and the towns so quaint and isolated. Chiloe National Park was so beautiful in a rugged way and walking along the coast was so peaceful and unspoilt, although with lots of rain for company! The National Park had superb camping sites - each one private and enclosed by bushes, with water and firewood, and in a maze-like setting so that you couldn't see anyone else - it felt like we were the only ones in paradise.
