Trinidad
The once proud and wealthy “sugar baron” Cuban city of Trinidad may be a little run down nowadays, its tired Spanish colonial buildings and dilapidated houses in need of attention, but this does not detract from the city’s appeal as a holiday destination. The warmth of the locals, the laid-back attitude to life and themore throb of salsa music pervades the air as bicycles and horse-drawn carts wend through the cobbled streets and plazas.
