Kutna Hora
The reason most travelers come to holiday in Kutna Hora, a 14th Century town in the Czech Republic, is to view its bizarre attraction, the Kostnice Ossuary. The Ossuary, a burial chapel, was turned into a macabre work of art in 1870 when Frantisek Rint decided to arrange the bones of about 40,000 human skeletonsmore into forms such as pyramids and chandeliers. Kutna Hora also boasts some magnificent churches and a museum dedicated to its “boom time” as a silver mining centre.
