Sumatra
The area around Aceh on the northern tip of the island of Sumatra is one of Indonesia’s main trouble spots, but the rest of the island is an idyllic holiday paradise filled with wildlife (take a safari to see orangutans, tigers and elephants) and stunning scenery.
