MEXICO CITY HOLIDAY REVIEWS
Mexico City
Site of an ancient Aztec city, Mexico City is literally in the clouds, being North America’s highest city by altitude, and one of the most densely populated metropolises in the world. The unabated energy can be daunting for those who come on holiday to Mexico City, with its slums, pollution, congested streets and high noisemore

As part of the cultural heritage of our Mexico City, we count with a big variety of museums and galleries, which are referred to different interesting topics and show our history’s richness of the past and the present. There is no such experience like going back in time and knowing the cultural, social, political, economical heritage of our city and because of that, we recommend you to visit our museums like The National Museum of Anthropology, The Museum of Natural History, The Federal Electricity Commission Museum, The National Museum of Modern Art, The San Ildefonso Museum, The Great Pyramid, among others. Mexico´s City highlights worlswide by great artists of all times like Rufino Tamayo, Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco, Remedios Varo, José Alfaro Sequeiros, among others, whose works are shown at the galleries of our city.

Mexico city was an amazing trip all together. We had a great experience from the time we got there up until we left.We stayed at Hotel Catedral, which was in walking distance from the beautiful Zocalo and tour bus trips. Our hotel is highly recommended with cheap rates, rooms with balconies, and a great restaurant and buffet with very friendly helpful staff. Definately make time to visit the aztec pyramids and Templo Mayor. Both are amazing to see and walk through. Also, the Zocalo plaza is a cool place to hang out at night, with lots of entertainment of aztec dancers and music, cool stuff for sale, and great food. This was an awesome trip and we will be going back soon.

Mexico City, big and sprawled. A guide book said it's worth the visit just for the Museum of Anthropology. I'd agree but I like it for more than that as well. There was an attempted mugging and some other shady stuff but that is avoidable if you play it safe. Just ask at the tourist centers where to avoid. A pumping city. Smog, people, poverty, crime, wealth, corruption. The Zocalo is the center square. Music, dancers, etc. The biggest catedral in Mexico is on that block as is the government building containing one of Diego Riveras masterpieces. The Frida Kahlo museum is in a different quarter of town. I dug it. It's in her and Diego's old house. Trostsky's got a museum nearby as well.

Cabo San Lucas, Baja Sur Mexico Had a wonderful time in Cabo and saved thousands of dollars by having crowns and dentures made there. My dentist in the States wanted $8,000 for my treatment and it was only $2,400 in nearby San Jose del Cabo. For the same work. Contact Dra. Rosy Peña at angelstouch.com to visit her web site. She offers a free Online consultation. Tour Operator: n/a

We only stayed a couple of nights in Mexico City, so only experienced it very briefly. It is very, very busy with lots of traffic. There is a lot of sightseeing to do from the city if you spend more time there. You do need to be careful when getting taxis by agreeing a cost before you get in and also be very careful of your belongings at all times. A knowledge of spanish language would be helpful.
