SAN CRISTÓBAL DE LAS CASAS HOLIDAY REVIEWS
San Cristóbal De Las Casas
Take a step back in time and holiday in San Cristobal de las Casas, the picturesque Mexican town in a valley in the highlands. Life in this Spanish colonial centre goes on much as it did a few centuries ago. The central plaza is a bustling marketplace, television sets are sold alongside vegetables, and cheekymore

Simply an amazing city. Not too big....not too small. Peaceful and lovely and always welcoming to newcomers. The zapatista uprising was a political necessity that has since calmed down leaving everybody hard at work, trying their best to change what can be changed and to encourage others. I now own a lovely house in san cristobal, and intend to move, permanently there in approx. one more year. In fact, I am leaving in 3 weeks for a two week stay there to investigate land for sale upon which to build small houses to resell. fairly. As there just isn't much for sale there, now. and lots want to be there! Nooooobody should "miss" this jewel of a town. it is "old mexico" and at the same time fully connected to the modern world. quite something! I am a lucky guy! Nicholas Tour Operator: none
