• WEST COAST HOLIDAY REVIEWS

West Coast
Running north from Cape Town, the West Coast of South Africa remains largely wild and unspoilt. Langebaan is the most developed town and with its lagoon is popular for watersports. Further north there are a string of small fishing villages characterised by long empty beaches and thatched whitewashed houses. more
Yes the Wild Coast - Jack. Date of travel: Aug 2008
Wild? well sort of. Laid back and stoned for the towns I visited. At least at the backpackers. Port St. Johns was the first. My favorite of the towns. The biggest as well. What to do? Well I hung out, then took a 5 day walk along the coast to Coffee Bay. I didn't take a guide so I got lost frequently. But I enjoyed the locals I met off the beaten track. So I arrived in Coffee Bay, hung out, surfed, laid around, drank, ate, hmmmm... laid around some more, filled up on rest and headed to East London for a different Beach to lay around on.
