Seoul
Seoul, capital of South Korea, is a modern city with a past extending back to the 14th Century. The ancient city gates still stand at the heart of modern Seoul, enclosing palaces, parks, museums and temples. Beyond the old city modern Seoul sparkles in high-rise splendour, crammed with malls, galleries and amusement parks. On holidaymore
Seoul City - Kim. Date of travel: Oct 2010
I am just about to leave this wonderful place after 3 weeks. I have enjoyed every moment of my time here and felt safe, welcomed, and amazed at what I saw everywhere I went. This place is beautiful and while there are a lot of people and cars here there are many places that are available for people to go to for peace and relaxation such as Hun River Park. There are trees and plants all over the city and it is very clean. Food and drink is not expensive and I found that many Korean people can speak enough English to get your message across. Great shopping spots all over the city and almost everything is nearby. Korean BBQ is great and there are many lovely traditional restaurants but if you are wanting more western types of food there is everything you could want here too. Highly recommend this place as a holiday destination although if you don't have a personal guide would perhaps recommend starting with guided tours.
Seoul Trip - Davie Kim. Date of travel: May 2009
Seoul is one of the biggest cities in the world. I enjoyed how it's different from North America cities like New York. Seoul has unique Asian culture that I couldn't enjoy living in Vancouver Canada.
