Seville is beautiful - Terry Ingpen. Date of travel: Apr 2007
We went on holiday to Seville in April. Its best to avoid peak summer as the temperature aproaches boiling and the crowds are thick. Plan your Seville holiday for spring, when two of the city's most important festivities take place: Semana Santa (Easter Week) with its world-famous processions and elaborate costumes that date back to the Inquisition, and Feria de Sevilla, a week long party with flamenco dancing, bullfighting and lots of sherry. The Moorish influence remains strong in Seville and there are also some beautiful churches, an awesome cathedral, lovely squares, narrow alleyways with white painted houses and plenty of charming tavernas and restaurants.

seville is a city like no other. the andulcian capital is full of culture and history with lots to see and buy!! it gets unbearably hot in the summer and its worth noting that temperatures have been known to rise to over 140 degrees!! the best time to go is spring when the trees are ripe with oranges and the city is full of their aroma night life is based around cafe culture with a few underground clubs, however this is kept a secret from any tourists!!

if you like the idea of rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous, then puerto banus is the place for you! the night life is fantastic with all bars open into th early hours in the summer. tapas bars and cafes are more popular in the winter months a favourite with the footballers, its a great resort for seeing how the other half live. the king of spain, mohammed al fayed and sean connery all have huge yachts moored in the famous port. hotels in the area are generally 4/5 * although cheaper alternetives can be found. there are fab beaches with even fabber beach bars.
