Lived here for 4 years now, am surprised to see you're giving max. high temp here in July'Aug. hight 30's, low 40's...more like high 40's, low to mid-range 50's! "OK" things bout Abu Dhabi??? Well, some of the beaches are ok. If one can afford to go to them, hotels charge outrageous prices for memberships and even weekend rates are through the roof. The beach hotels are pretty small, with exception of Emirates Palace, way out of my league and maybe Intercontinental, Most of the beaches, including Hiltonia, and Sheraton Beach Hotel have lousy service, if you can get service at all... Abu Dhabi is becoming more and more expensive with little to offer for the price hikes, as hotels service is still horrible, food at most hotels is mediocre at best, and pricey. Traffic is getting worse in AD... and they drive like maniacs. Buildings are going up everywhere but no parking to get to these buildings. Only thing there is to do here if too cold, or hot to get to a beach, is to shop. A few decent shopping malls with cinemas. If you don't mind locals arriving late or talking on their mobile phones. If you're looking for a holiday destination, and you've got the money to spend here, then save it and go elsewhere, look for some place with culture and nice beaches, like Indonesia, Thailand, Egypt or Tunisia...
