Don't miss Bristol - John Davidson. Date of travel: Mar 2007
Bristol is about 15 miles from Bath and most visitors neglect to make the effort to stop in. Bristol is a wonderful city with lots of lovely pubs and cafes. The big tourist attraction is the Clifton Suspension bridge and apart from being a great feat of engineering it offers awesome views of the city. There is also the industrial museum and the natural history museum to see. With a newly redesigned high street the shopping in Bristol is great. Take a ferry along the river or walk along the harbour, take a walking tour and learn about Bristol's pirate history. Don't miss out.
