Had a great time in Pamporovo. I'd never touched a ski until the first day in ski school, and spent more time falling over than sliding, by the end of the 6 days I was confidently skiing down the green and blue runs. Thanks Dimitri.

On vacation in Pamporovo in the Rhodope Mountains, we enjoyed the sunny Bulgarian winter and the snow was great. We chose this resort for its climatic therapy, and weren't at all disappointed by what the Balneological Centre had to offer. Most of the ski runs go from the Snejanka peak, which was stunning, and the ski school helped us iron out the finer details. We also spent some time in one of the folk taverns where the locals told us all about Orpheus, the mythical singer.

What a great ski resort, loved it superb, the wall, very challenging but very fun, I would recommend the Brother's restaurant at the midway point of the mountain, good hospitality, warm fire, great warming drinks, i would certainly recommend their chicken on a stick, superb...
