Fabulous Korcula - Max T.. Date of travel: Sep 2007Loved the relaxed vibe on Korcula and in Korcula Town - a really cool medieval old town a bit like a small Dubrovnik with little cobbled streets, stone walls and crooked shutters. Everything so clean and water is crystal clear. Pretty busy when the cruise ships arrive, but you can always escape to other parts of the island until they all go back to their ship for the evening. Some awesome little pebble beaches to discover as well as picturesque little villages.
Korcula is Fantastic - Noel Green. Date of travel: Mar 2006
We stayed only a couple nights in Korcula and since it was the off-season, it was quiet. Did meet a couple of Canadians there who are running a Wraps and Smoothies bar called Fresh. Was very dissapointed to find that they weren't going to open until later in the spring but as a fellow Canadian, want to help spread the word. If you get the chance to visit, say hi from Noel from Port Alberni!
