We stayed at the Fun Royal @ Fun Tropical Beach Resort from the 12th December 2005 for 2wks. The Hotel is Dirty and out of date. There were Rats running around in the restaurant, no food was covered. The rooms themselves are dirty ie. Ants, Cockroaches, Mould. Bedding should be changed on a regular basis: forget it take you're own bedding off and wet it to get it changed. There are Bed Bugs in the beds, everyone was bit. We didn't sleep in the beds but on sun lounges from the pool. The Rep has an attitude problem unless you are booking tours through her. This Hotel should be closed down, it is a disgrace. All English couldnt wait for their flight home. I was ill with food poisoning: only ate in hotel. The Doctor wouldnt treat me until I paid £100 first even though my travel insurance is Worldwide and I dont have to pay. To think that this is a 3* plus its disgusting. I have stayed in higher and lower star hotels and I wouldnt give it 1* I suggest that the tour operator stays in this Hotel just to see what its like. The staff at Popeyes Bar at the pool are fine. The pool itself wants to be re-tiled as its unsafe for the children. Overall Comments: Dont Go Tour Operator: First Choice
