Disneyland Paris
The world-famous Disneyland theme park concept was exported to Europe from the USA and set up shop in Marne-la-Vallee, an outer suburb of Paris, proceeding to delight children of all ages, and the young at heart. A total commercial venture consisting of hotels, stores and restaurants, Disneyland Paris has two theme parks packed with thrillingmore
You pay a premium because you are in Disney - Hatesteakhouse. Date of travel: Mar 2009
My husband took our daughter to Disneyland Paris a week ago for a 2 night, 3 day stay. We had a good time and the parks are small enough to get around them in the time allotted (Florida is much better...) BUT!!!, I couldn't believe the price of the food and alcohol!. We paid €16 (which due to the exchange rate at the time = £16!). Unbelievable! The glasses of wine are miniscule too! We had paid for half board which allows you to choose to eat in a number of restaurants. WARNING!!! DO NOT GO TO THE STEAKHOUSE. It's a complete rip off. Due to the half board ticket, you are given a 'special' menu, good thing too, as their steaks ranged from €50 (I know, we couldn't believe it either!), to their cheapest which was around €36. We were sat near a little table that the waiters bought the dirty plates back to. That wasn't the problem, but we noticed a LOAD of food being left on the plates. When we received our orders, we realised why. Our menu was valued at €33, although the waiter told us it was €25. Both my husband and I ordered the steak. BAD MOVE! Not only were we told that we couldn't tell them how we wanted our steak cooked (apparently everyone has to have it medium), but we couldn't eat it. It must have come from the bit of cow that is usually sent to dog meat factories. I'm not lying, we couldn't chew it. No wonder there was so much left over. It was horrible. We left our half board tickets on the table and left. We were so disgusted with the quality, that we didn't stay for dessert. One last thing, if you don't heed this warning, and do want to eat at the (dog meat) Steakhouse, don't order the tuna! From what I saw being returned, the whole tuna steak was cooked through...it should be rare!! ask Jamie Oliver, or anyone that knows how to cook. The buffet at the hotel the next night was much better, although the queues getting into eat were longer than the queues to some of the rides at the park.
Disneyland Paris was good!!! - Mia. Date of travel: Nov 2008
Disneyland Paris was good!!!
Disneyland Paris was great. Its so good for the children but very expensive, I mean £50 for 3 drinks is ridiculous but great other than that!!!
Amazingly Magical - Emma Richardson. Date of travel: Oct 2008
Disneyland Pairs is expensive!!! Be prepared - €100 for 3 adults meals, 1 kids meal, 1 beer, 2 cokes, 1 cocktail Planet Hollywood. €70 for 4 meals eat as much as you like buffet in Disney Land. €30 for snack... 2x pancakes, 2 x waffles with cream and ice-cream, 3x coffees. Disneyland €50 for 4 x burger meals (like McDonald's but not) Disney studios. We took lots of cans of drinks and packets of crisps and sweets, but still spent approx £250 in 2 days on lunch and dinner. My 8 year old saw the "Crusher" Nemo roller coaster....do not be fooled by the Nemo theme!!! She hated it as did I, only for the brave!!! lol, The longest queue there was only one and that was for an hour (the dreaded Nemo crusher) a couple of other roller coasters 25 mins, but it averaged 15-20 mins queue time per ride. Must see- The stunt show -Disney Studios-not just for the boys and men!!! The legend of the Lion King-Disney park-Sooooo good I cried! Lilo and Stitch-Disney Studios-don't be fooled by the young theme, this was very very funny for all ages don't miss it mums and dads! Cinemagic-Disney Studios-Magical. Top Tips- take as many drinks etc with you as you can!!----Keep your camera handy (and spare batteries) at all times for Disney characters, you really never know when they are going to pop up!----Disney village at night good for a night walk-lots going on and to see- we did Disney Park on the Fri and Disney Studios On sat, this was a good decision, as Saturday was much busier than Friday and Disney studio is the quieter (also still busy) of the 2. There honestly was so much to see and do, we went for 4 days 3 night, 2 days of that full days travelling, we were up at 6am each morning and falling on our beds at midnight exhausted. We did do and see most things - don't let the tiredness get the better of you its worth it!!! We all had the best time so much so we are gonna America. Disney Paris has to be done, it sounds corny, but its breath-takingly amazingly magical you wont know where to look or what to do first!!!! Have fun x
Best holiday ever - Liam Ross. Date of travel: Oct 2007

We loved Thunder Mountain - Lynn Lewer. Date of travel: Aug 2006
We loved the Disneyland Park the rides and theming were everything that you would expect from Disney. Our favourite ride was thunder mountain and as the queues were not too bad we managed to ride this several times. When standing in the queues make sure that you stand so other people can not get pass as they will push past you and keep an eye on small children as mine were shoved out of the way several times.overall disneyland paris is great fun and very well done. Take plenty of money as it is expensive a small bottle of coke is nearly £2 and a kitkat was over £1. Tour Operator: Short Breaks
Disneyland - Daniela Virzi. Date of travel: Apr 2006
We experienced a few of the rides at Disneyland Paris which were brilliant and there is so much for children there as well. There was also an adults nightclub there called Hurricanes so there is something for everybody!! To experience all of the rides and the magic you would definitely need 4 full days there! I will definitely be visiting Disneyland again! Tour Operator: Disney Direct
Disneyland paris - Vanessa Evans. Date of travel: Apr 2006
Very short flight with Air France, just under an hour. Charles De Gaulle airport is very large, need to allow plenty of time on your return journey. The check in desks and boarding gates are not always very clear. Transfer time from Disneyland hotels to the airport is 40 minutes by coach. Tour Operator: Disneyland
The magic of Disney Christmas - Ian, Lin, Scott and Alex Brown. Date of travel: Dec 2004
As I write this we have just over five weeks until we return to Disney Land Paris for Christmas. If you have become old and forgotton how to be a child then go to the end of this review. If how ever you are like me, a 35 year old that is so excited about returning to Disney at Christmas that I am prone to bouts of whooping and dancing with the kids then read on. Every year I tried to find that something magical to make Christmas special. Grotto visits, Wemblys Christmas land. But then we discovered Disney, and oh god its the ultimate. A place so full of Christmas spirit you are drunk on it. Music, lights, trees and decos, carol singers and hot mulled wine. It is all there and its great. If you love christmas and just want to scream it from the roof tops then my friend please take my advice and try it. It truly is Magic.
