Skala a great village - Lynne. Date of travel: Mar 2005
A great village if you want to chill out. No great beaches as they are all pebbles in the north of the island, but still a great place. The folk are so friendly and they make you very welcome. Our favourite eating place was Spiros near the end of the Main street, and their Greek night is great entertainment. Ask how the taxi will charge before you get in as some will rip you off. We were charged €35 to go to the capital while our friends in another taxi were only charged €25. So check before. Tour Operator: Manos
