Agios Ioannis is a pretty resort near to Corfu town, just fifteen minutes from Corfu airport. There is a nice man-made beach which has free sun beds and deck chairs. Agios Ioannis is popular with Brits, mostly families and couples. It’s a bit quiet, luckily, for the 18-30 lot. Most entertainment is in the hotels, but in the sea front there are a few shops, bars and restaurants. It's cheaper to have a drink in one of these tavernas than in the hotels.
