Visited Benitses in September 2007. Had a great time. Having read previous 2 reviews I just had to visit Havana bar! Don't know what Mrs Jenkins was thinking. Bar nice, pizza gorgeous, dancers were great. I agree fire show was good, though a bit dangerous. Island very pretty. Lovely destination.

Lively but in a pleasant way. Not full of drunk people. Loads of great places to eat. Very beautiful place. Fabulous food. Friendly people. Stoney beach- wear plastic shoes in sea for comfort. Recommend the chinese restaurant- it was lovely. Recommend Little Havana beach bar. It's right on the waters edge-you can swim from there if you want. Fantastic views. Great shows every night. Fire shows by Marco- amazing. Dancing by the Kandi Girls-3 girls from England-Amy,Clare and Chris. Brill! Salsa night great fun. Potamaki Hotel has good shows also. Shell museum small but sweet (only €4).

I visited Benitses on 25th August for 2 weeks. I loved Benitses, especially shamrock and the chinese restaurant. Little Havana was ok except the entertainment was not very professional apart from the fire show (very good). Dancers were poor and the staff in general were unfriendly and unwelcoming. Loved the water sports and although the beach is pebbles it has stunning veiws.

Benitses has lost some of the pace that it used to have but is still worth it. I know many have some great memories from this place, myself included, and I hope it will reclaim its former glory. It's still such a special and lovely part of the world and the people are as friendly as ever.
