This was our second visit to the Yannis Hotel in Ipsos, Corfu - that probably says it all. The hotel rooms are basic but clean; the staff friendly; the pool is great and a godsend when you're there in a massive heatwave as we were.... and importantly the location is spot on - close enough to all amenities but set back to ensure a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Ipsos is a great place with a long strip of Cafes and Bars along the front. You can have it as loud or as quiet as you like in the resort. The front is for the younger ones but up the road from Butchers corner and Mama's Kitchen is the quieter village and bars of Pirgi. Booked again for Ipsos flying from Newcastle May 8th. Another thing visitors might find attractive are the fireflys in May. They make a wonderful display - like something out of Disney on a warm Corfu night. Staying this time at the Yannis Hotel. Try Ipsos this summer .
