Hani Kokini
Kokini Hani is great - Ann Paul. Date of travel: Aug 2006
Hire a car it's a must to really get around. The bus service is second to none 2.40 euro to Hersonissos for two not bad. There are plenty of places to eat out we never found a bad one the Romantic Garden was one of the best.
All sorts for all sorts - Debra Fitzharris. Date of travel: Jul 2006
Hani Kokini has all sorts of people, all sorts of ages and has been one of our best holidays yet. The people were friendly, the nightlife is great and the food was excellent. I would definitely go back. Lovely scenery around the whole area too!
Kokini Hani... superb! - Julia. Date of travel: Jul 2004
This area has a few shops but is central as the bus service to Herlakion, Hersonissos etc is on the main road and bus fare is cheap. So Hani Kokini a great place to have a base to explore the beautiful island of Crete. Car hire I highly recommend too!
Kokini Hani - Hammies. Date of travel: Jun 2003
A Lovely quiet little town, just what we were looking for. Quite near the airport and a lot of planes flying over but that didn't bother us. Although it might annoy some people. Kokini Hanu us not the type of place you go if you want to party all night although we did in the Katerina Apartments, even with two children. They thought it was fantastic. Has enough shops, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. We did hire a jeep for three days from a local hire shop to see a bit of the island. This worked out a lot cheaper than booking through the reps. Kokini Hani is also very near a huge water park but we found it better to get a taxi from the town there ourselves as it also cost a fortune as an excursion and you got on the bus first and got off last even though we were nearest.
