As a holiday resort, Faliraki on the east coast of the Greek island of Rhodes is renowned for having the best beach on the island and the wildest nightlife. The sandy beach is several miles long, littered with parasols and sunbeds, with a host of watersports available. When the sun goes down the pubbers andmore
Faliraki for everyone! - Bev Morris. Date of travel: Jan 2010
Faliraki has risen from the ashes of bad press to become a family-friendly, cosmopolitan beach resort. The beach is a well organised 5km stretch of golden sand lines with tavernas and cafe bars. Watersports and boat trips to quieter, secluded bays are numerous and popular. In addition to road travel boats link Faliraki with Rhodes Town, Symi and Lindos.
Wild parties - Emma. Date of travel: Aug 2009

Faliraki - the steak out - Jemma. Date of travel: Jul 2008
The one and only place to eat in Faliraki is "THE STEAK OUT". It has the best food in Rhodes! The service is excellent, prices are cheap and if you love steak chargrilled or food for that matter then this is the place to be. This is the only place worth eating.
Faliraki 4 ever - Dorothy & Greg. Date of travel: Jun 2008
So we have been to Faliraki in begining of June, which was the best possible option I believe. The beaches were not overcrowded, night life was perepared for peak but you could still find a pleasant place to sit and relax, and the weather was just perfect: those days when it is hot but you still feel like doin something, and not just die next to the pool. Absoultly perfect ;-)

I love Faliraki - Hannah. Date of travel: May 2008
Faliraki is a location for all ages, quiet if that's what you desire but also with a very fun and lively night life available if that's what you like. A short cab ride from Rhodes' airport & also from the water park.

Faliraki 10/10 - Jade. Date of travel: Aug 2007
I can't even begin to explain what an amazing time I had in Faliraki. Best week of my life! Bar street is ace, I love it! And some amazing clubs too. Loved Liquid club! People really friendly and there is lots to do. Nice restaurants along beach. Waterpark is a good day out and loads of watersports and activities on beach during the day. Absolutely wicked time....we've already booked to go back next year!
Falaraki - Lauren. Date of travel: Aug 2007
Nice beaches, Lindos is really nice, Internet cafe down the road was good, Rhodes town on the bus for under €2 was really good, shops like Zara and Sephora!
Bring on next year!!!! - Nisha. Date of travel: Aug 2007
An amazing experience, will definitely be doing it again, nightlife was great not too rowdy but exciting enough for everyone, bars and clubs for everyone's taste. Registered taxis outside all the bars and clubs so you never have to walk home unless you want to....will definitely be doing it again next year.
e.g. I loved Faliraki - Sami Pakyurek. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Faliraki was great, it has everything you want and more. Sunbathe at day and party at night until you drop. Q club was always a favouirte of mine.
I Love Faliraki - Jessica Beech. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Faliraki has a really good night life, I went with a club 18-30s and the places that I visited were amazing. I would recommend going to the Bed Club where they have Foam parties and also Liquid which is a night club. I fell in love with Faliraki and am considering going again. The people are really friendly and the Club and Bar streets are filled with bars.
Faliraki is wicked! - Sam Dedicoat. Date of travel: Jul 2007
The bad press that was associated with Faliraki a couple of years ago does not apply to the resort today. The preconception of the place that myself and others had far from the truth. I would recommend the place to anyone! It's a great place to go, nice friendly people, great bars and just generally a wicked place for a holiday. Me and my mates will definitely be going back there.
Accomodation was better then expected - Sam Dedicoat. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Olympia Hotel accommodation was brilliant, nice food served all day, bar open till 3am, staff were friendly but only if you behave and respect the place and others. Pool was good too, always clean and entertainment on a Saturday night was good before you go out into town. 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 min walk to the town which was good because no noise at night. Great Hotel, would easily recommend and would go back there myself.
Not a write off! - Therasa & Carl. Date of travel: Jul 2007
I was dubious about going to Faliraki after reading various reviews on the resort, but when we got there I was pleasantly suprised. The resort itself is not that big really, with more or less everything happening on "bar street" and "club street". During the day "Bar street" is a normal road with shops, bars and cafes, but at night it is closed to traffic and turns into a fantastic lively hub of bars and venues for a night. Touts will try to get you into their bar offering free shots etc, but they are not that pushy, a "no thanks" is sufficient and they will back off. There are more restaurants on "Club street", Opera is a must, the setting, service and food is excellnt there! But later "Club street" also picks up with places like Matrix and Q opening from 12 onwards. The beach at Faliraki is gorgeous, goes on for miles, but the sand is so hot, keep shoes on at all times! The aquapark is not much to write home about, €20 for about 4 slides, it's aimed at children mainly. The funfair is also very small, 3 or 4 rides, but that's "pay as you go" no entrance fee, you pay for what you go on. A must is a trip to Lindos by boat. Don't book through your rep, go through the guy in the corner of the harbour, opposite Popeye! He's half the price of everyone else but still a great day out. A very friendly and nice place to be, with lots to attract different crowds. Restaurants, Karaoke bars, R'n'B and dance bars and few nightclubs too! It's all there! We never saw any trouble or mischief while we were there, so reports are rubbish. I would definitley go back.
It was BRILLIANT!! - Janine and Vicki. Date of travel: Jul 2007
I stayed in Faliraki in July 07 and it was great. I was going there with the thought of really bad reviews in the back of my mind, I was soooo wrong! I loved it, everywhere we went, day or night was amazing! The people, the place the clubs and bars, I cant give it one bad review! Don't believe what everybody else says, make it your own holiday, don't choose your holiday by what others think, we didn't and it's the best holiday I have been on so far!!! I would recommend going with club 18-30s if you're the younger folk, as they made our holiday 100% better! A little advice though... If you go on the booze cruise don't drink the night before, I did, bad idea!! Well I could go on about this holiday forever but you really should find out for yourself! I would definitely go back there! I hope this helps! x
Great - lots to do for all ages - Mrs Anne Leighton. Date of travel: Jul 2007

Falaraki is amazing! - Danni and soph. Date of travel: Jun 2007
We fell in love with Faliraki, the people were amazing, the place was amazing and the fish bowls were amazing! The bars and the clubs were situated closely together so if you faniced a quieter night you could get one. On the other hand if you wanted a quality night with lots of free beer and dancing, that was also available!! :) Will be going back soon! Whoop whoop!
Hated it - Charlene. Date of travel: Aug 2006
This was a familly runned hotel we got there at 1.30 in the morning and went to the room to find it had not been cleaned. The air conditioner was broken and leaked all over the bed, light were broken. Only got clean bedding and towels once a week. Staff were terrible, flight was terrible, no one could speak proper English. Do not ever go!
I loved this holiday, would go again - J Jones. Date of travel: Aug 2006
Faliraki is a nice town, plenty to do, food was nice and the weather was hot! The beach was lovely but didn't sunbathe there, too hot.
ryan bradley. Date of travel: Aug 2005
the aparments were situated approx 10 mins walk to the beach which had golden sands the sea was cold but quite refreshing in the heat of the sun througout the summer. the nightlife which was very lively was just a few minutes walk further than the beach along a main road. it was ideal for me and my lover as we had the best of both worlds we could have a lively night or just a few at the local bars. falaraki is certainly not for the light hearted as it is a non stop party zone. Faliraki seems to be on the way back up!. We first visited in 1983 with two young children. The locals are the most hospitable and patient people in the Med. Back then the kids out in Bar Street(16-20) were experiencing the freedom they probably never had and were somewhat wild on occasions. Over the next seven years I witnessed such a change in the crowds going to Faliraki that I no longer wanted to be associated with any of it. Due to the constant bad publicity being shown in the UK we decided in 2000 that would be our last trip. I have just returned to find that things have changed. The locals must be delighted but will still be picking up the pieces from the fall out of previous years for some time to come. Faliraki has always been a great place to stay. Everything you need is on hand and now I have witnessed it I am looking forward to returning again and again. The place went down drastically but it is on it's way back up and anyone with kids or not will find something to suit them here. The place still has it's youngsters but they do seem to be behaving better!. A fantastic venue for all ages and stages so don't let the previous bad press keep you away, come and make your own mind up. Tour Operator: Airtours
Definately recommend Faliraki - Danielle. Date of travel: Aug 2005
Me and 5 friends went to Faliraki in August 05, all of us being 17 we were a bit aprehensive due to the bad press, but we had the best holiday ever! The nightlife was ace! Faliraki is by far the best place i have ever been, we loved every minute of it! I would strongly recommend the bar crawl and foam party at bed club (which you have to sort out with your rep) it was brilliant, and everyone who has ever been will tell you to get to Q club, the best club in Faliraki! I would definately recommend Faliraki for a brilliant holiday and we'll definately be going back! Tour Operator: Sunstart

Wasn't sure what to expect after all the bad press Faliraki has had in the past, but I was definitely pleasantly suprised! Had a really mad time starting off in Bedrock Kareoki bar then moving to Q club - not to be missed, and cant remember where we ended up after that: always too smashed! Really good atmosphere though no fighting or unsocial behaviour everyone's just up for a good cheap time!!!!! Tour Operator: Libra
