Tsilivi, something for everyone - Lesley Hampson. Date of travel: Jul 2009
Tsilivi has something for everyone. Great bars and fantastic places to eat. Georgios gives excellent value for money and the food is great. You must try the Red Apple bar, Planos end of Tsilivi, Spiros makes you welcome and has a great selection of cocktails.
Tsilivi - Caroline. Date of travel: May 2009
Tsilivi is a great choice for families of all ages. Very friendly people and huge choice of places to eat and drink. Roads leading into the town are very narrow and overrun with tourists on mopeds. Plenty of holiday shopping t good prices. Lost of opportunity to book trips to see the island. We would recommend the 4x4 tour in a land rover, off road, very bumpy but great fun and a unique way to see th island. Did visit some of the regular tourist stop offs though to try and sell the usual honey and local wine only disappointment and the lunch stop was a bit of a let down food wise but great views over the see and a beach stop to see the caves if you wanted. Magdelenas do great ice cram cocktails, Almond Joey's - to die for! plus big screen TV and Lee Evans to laugh at, great. The Majestic taverna serve brilliant food, well cooked, lots of it, Gregg and English wit their own twist. Great puds too! All staff very friendly we went back almost every night. Plenty of places to hire mopeds, quds, cycles and cars. Mind the roads, very narrow, watch out for goats!
Tsilivi was great - Luke. Date of travel: Aug 2008
Tsilivi was a very good holiday. Lots of bars and places to eat. Best bar for me was the red point bar. Take the bendy road past Popeye's and after the first bend its on the opposite side to Popeye's. Best restaurant was Majestic. Very good food and service.

We wanted two weeks in the sun with the option of having a bit of peace of quiet but to also have a good night out in the town should we want it. Tsilivi definitely delivered on this, we had a superb time in terms of what Tsilivi had to offer, it was just what we wanted. If you want a nice chilled out day in Tsilivi, you may want to stroll up to the Razi's appartments or the Chill Out Bar as it is called. It is situated up a slight hill but is very peaceful. Lovely bar staff and very nice food. They also have free table tennis which went down well with my boyfriend. The restaurants which stood out for us was the Passage to India. We had a Chinese and an Indian in this restaurant throughout our stay and both types of cuisine were absolutely delicious. Nearly opposite this restaurant was a Mexican restaurant which again was fantastic.
Loved it going back next year for sure - Carol & Andy. Date of travel: Jun 2007
All tavernas were excellent, only one quibble is the bread they seem to try to charge whether you have it or not, price ranges from 0.80 to 2. Prices are reasonable for the food, there are takeaways even a McDonalds if that's your thing, and they have Magners cider everywhere which I love, usually it is hard to get cider but large bottles everywhere along with every other drink you could name, supermarkets have got loads of choice for everything if you forgot something you will get it in the resort. Sun lotions just as cheap if not cheaper than home, you can buy lovely tubs of fresh fruit with all kinds in from pears to strawberries, melon, apples banana. I think you could ask for what you want, in fact nothing is too much trouble for anybody, weather was brilliant it was still well into the 30s at 8.30pm - 9.00pm. The sun seems to be out for about 14 hours a day. Fantastic but it is not sticky heat as long as you relax and chill, plenty of car & bike, quad rental shops, also plenty of places to book trips but did not go on any as we hired a car. The bus service seemed very regular. Can't comment on prices, went to the highest point on the island just outside Zante town. Views are awesome, you can get ferry trips from Zante town as well. There is plenty to do in Tsilivi, it's just a fab fab place to stay. Enjoy!!!
Tsilivi - Chris and Wilf Tray. Date of travel: Oct 2006
Loved Tsilivi, although close to the end of season the bars were still quite busy and lively at night. I would recommend the Ark and its mad owner who sets fire to the bar on a daily basis! The two brothers bar was very lively and entertaining. A warm welcome at the Geordie Pride bar from Keith and Linda! particularly enjoyed deal or no deal! Manos Grill cannot be faulted when eating out! Clean kitchen, helpful staff, lovely food and very rasonable prices. Live entertainment at Deano's place and the resident band Deep Turtle were very good. The Red Lion has an excellent cocktail menu. The level bar vey comfortable and ''chilled out'' Oh and Popeye's breakfasts are to die for!
Losing its charm - Bob. Date of travel: Jul 2006
I first came to Tsilivi in the late nineties and its amazing to see the change in crowd over the past decade. The beaches are still beautiful but I would have to say that it is slowly losing its charm as in other parts of the country.
Perfect resort - Nicola Jones & Darren Hall. Date of travel: Jun 2005
We stayed in the resort of Tsilivi, a perfect resort for lively bars and restaurants, with plenty of variety for every taste. The Popeye's restaurant is a must!! The beaches are beautiful with white sand and clear water that goes on for miles, with watersports galore. The resort is an ideal base to explore Zante town which is only a short bus ride away. The resort is great for any age, or any taste as it has something to offer everybody. Tour Operator: Goldensun
Had a good time - Sue and Dave Dawes. Date of travel: Oct 2004
Had a good time in Zante. Tsilivi hot weather for time of year end of season almost but still quite busy, bars still open, good hotel plenty of good places to eat. Hope to return this year. Maybe go self catering this time. Airport at Zante very small and slow prbably be awful at busy seasons expensive too. Take water and food with you. Tour Operator: Thompson
