I am a Goaholic. Been North and South. South is quieter but in all both are fab. Its cheap out and about, the people friendly, the beach lovely and the weather fab from Nov-April. Calangute is a busy, bustling resort with markets, ample eateries and nightlife towards Baga beach. The beach is very busy especailly Nov-Dec with Indians from Bombay etc and they love to chat and have photos taken with you. Can be annoying towards end of holiday but remember they are just keen to practice their English on you and our pale skin is a novelty to them! Tour Operator: manos
