Glitz and Glamour - Mike and family. Date of travel: Feb 2006
Sun City is a bit overwhelming - an opulent and extravagant place (though not as garish as Las Vegas). Very interesting architecture and plenty of restaurants, big casino and of course a highlight for the kids is the water park with the Valley of the Waves gigantic wave pool. We stayed at one of the hotels (Palace of the Lost city) so had free access - a definite must for children. The park has a lot of fun rides and is safe. I also managed to get in some golf and my wife took thekids with her on a horse ride and she had a lovely spa day. Luxury all round.
