DULLSTROOM HOLIDAY REVIEWS
Dullstroom
Touristy but lovely - Patrick and Ingrid. Date of travel: Dec 2005
Dullstroom is one of those places that could just be a spot on the map, a drive through town... but it has become a tourist mecca and many people (particularly from Joburg) come here to fly fish and relax. The surrounds certainly are beautiful, btu the town itself gets packed. there are some really good restaurants, (try the famous Harry's Pancakes - mouthwatering!!) and some intereasting but touristy curio shops. Some people (like us) were stopping off on our way to a game reserve, and so were really just passing through, but apparently it is a lovely place to stay and there are plenty of B&Bs to stay at, and accommodation on farms nearby. Definitely wotrth popping in, but go early if you want to get a table anywhere!
