Hazyview and Kruger - Franky. Date of travel: Dec 2005
Hazyview is a great way to enjoy the benefits of the surrounding areas, especially the Kruger National Park. We stayed in a backpackers (cant remember name now, think it was Big 5?? will write review when i can remember the name) and it was very reasonable, and then we did several day trips into the Kruger and saw a stack of animals (including lions mating!!). The backpackers was being renovated so we had to head into town for supper. The first place that was recommended to us was closed for a private party for bikers (!!!) but the second place we found was lovely - again forgotten teh name but decent food, a pool table and they sold the coffee that the region is famous for. Hazyview itself has some cute little shops etc to explore and as i said, great for spring board to the Kruger. Really was a lot of fun.
