You can't go wrong in Mijas apart from the fact that you seem to always be walking up hills. You can take a road, train or a cheap bus to most pleaces and there are lots of days out on coaches to be found. I'd advise you never to risk taking a taxi or hiring a car. The taxi drivers don't deserve to have a driving license and are expensive and expect a tip and the amount of road accidents in Mijas is hard to believe. I fully recommend that you only use public transport or a coach, do not attempt to get into a car or you will spoil your holiday.
