Puerto Morgan
Lazy and luxurious are the adjectives that best sum up a holiday in Puerto Morgan, the most refined of Gran Canaria’s resorts which actively seeks to preserve its traditional fishing village ambience, despite modern tourism development. It all centres on the classy marina where motor launches and yachts find moorings, the sailors and guests comingmore

Well worth a visit..pretty streets. fab restaurants, beach not too bad. Market on fridays a bit repetitive but worth a visit.

Puerto Morgan is great if you're after a chilled out beach holiday. We didn't want nightclubs and all that jazz, just a nice resort with a good selection of places to eat out and a few shops. That's exactly what we got from Puerto Morgan. It's also really pretty and clean, certainly hasn't been "spoilt" yet. Tattoos Bar is a must!

Puerto Morgan holiday heaven
I have been to Tenerife, and Fuertervetura, and Puerto de Mogan is by far the prettiest and cleanest I have been to. It's about 40 mins from the airport, and a taxi cost us 50 euros. We didn't want a busy place with nightlife, so Puerto Morgan was ideal for our holiday. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, had some great meals there. Beach is fantastic, my son loved it..very clean!! Great little bars..our favourite haunt was 'The Paradise Tattoo Bar'..with cheap booze. The guy who runs it used to live in the UK and is a well known tattoo artist..I was so inspired by his work, I got my first tattoo!!!!! If you want somewhere not too busy and nice and relaxing.. this is the place to go.. little bit more expensive than the neighbouring port 'Puerto Rico', but I think well worth it..cant wait to go back!!
Puerto Mogan + Taurito - Ben and Louise. Date of travel: Feb 2006
This was a last minute deal to get some winter sunshine and it couldn't have been a better break. We stayed at the Mogan Princess which was lovely - although there are lots of stairs but there are lifts as well! The food was good: a different choice every night and hotel staff were friendly and attentive. We hired a car and it is worth doing to see the island properly plus the roads are fantastic over there. Puerto Mogan is so pretty and we spent quite a bit of time there and also went up into the hills near Mogan and further up to the Azeljos. Tour Operator: Bookable Holidays

We stayed in Puerto Rico as we have done several times before. We took a lovely open topped boat ride to Puerto Mogan. The ride there was just perfect. It was a beautiful day and we loved every minute of it. Puerto Mogan is one of the prettiest places we have ever seen. Its so peaceful and we decided that when we get married that would be the perfect place for a wedding. So in 2006 we hope to make some enquiries about possibly getting married there if we are able to do so. If anyone has any ideas about a possible wedding please let us know- I can't think of a nicer place than Puerto Mogan. We love it there!!! Tour Operator: Thomas cook
