Port Des Torrent
Across the bay from the club-filled mecca of San Antonio lies Port Des Torrent. An altogether more relaxing, calmer and family friendly resort. Here parents can come with their children and paddle in the shallow waters. At night it's much the same atmosphere, chilled out and relaxed. more

Port Des Torrent - a life saver! - Janette and Martyn. Date of travel: Jun 2007
I thought I had found paradise when I found Port des Torrent! Ok ok, it's not the most beautiful of beaches in Ibiza, but if you come here make sure you come to Co-Co's bar. The music, the view, the ambiance, the craic - its the most relaxing beach and beach bar I have ever been to. The music is reggae, rock, French - on weekends there is a DJ playing down the sun. It's a fabulous way to spend your time on the island - at Co-Co's bar you could be anywhere in the world, it's just so peaceful and laid back. And there's a really cool woman there selling hand made jewellery, good prices and exclusive designs. I got loads to come home with and will buy loads next time I go there. Please visit this bar, you will not be disappointed!
The best holiday I have ever had! - Sarah Critchley. Date of travel: Jul 2006
It was the best holiday I have ever had! The beach was beautiful, lovely clear water and white sand, what else do you need. I am 22, so as you can imagine I also wanted to do some clubing while in Ibiza. I found it easier to catch the bus to San Antonio which cost 1.20 euros, and runs every hour on the hour, and get a taxi back from San Antonio square which cost around 2 euros each when shared with two friends. I found there was plenty of places to party in Port Des Torrent as well, you could also have a quiet night if you preffered. The restaurants in the resort were fantastic, but if you would like to eat the best meal you have ever had visit Tope's in San Antonio, the prices aren't bad either. When there i got the impression that the resort was perfect for families, loads for children to do including bungee swings, bumper boats, go karts, arcades, bowling....... the list goes on! We travelled to Ibiza for a quick get a way to prepare us for the summer, we were a bit dubious about Ibiza but we could not of been more wrong the island is really nice, really easy to get around the people are ever so friendly. Port des Torrent is a very nice little resort with bars resturants and shops and if you want something a little livelier you can go to neibouring San Antonio. Tour Operator: My travel

We stayed at the country seaview apartments and on the whole we could not fault the accommodation, but the resort was not upto the standard we expected as there is nothing there unless you walk down to the Bay and even then there is not that much there, We hired a car and visited the other islands and we preffered Santa Eulalia as this is a great resort for everyone Tour Operator: airt

Stayed at the 4* sirenis Seaview Country Club. Hotel not bad but not a 4*! Breakfasts were very nice but evening meals were much to be desired. Facilities and rooms couldn't be faulted, apart from the karaoke bar which didn't allow kids under 16 and this annoyed many people as it is a family orientated hotel! Found San Antonio really nice but to avoid serious damage to your pockets avoid buying drinks in Mambo's waiting for the sunset! Great place to chill but wouldn't like to be there in high season. Make sure you take plenty of money, you'll need it! Think i'll stick to cheap and cheery Tunisia from now on! Tour Operator: Direct holidays
Port Des Torrent lovely - Sharon and Anth. Date of travel: May 2003
We stayed in the little resort of Port Des Torrent in May 2003 and it was bliss! Our two girls were only 6 and 8 at the time so it was the perfect time to take them. The beach is only small but the kids are mostly interested in the hotel pool. The downside to this resort is a little out the way from San Antonio and the buses only run once an hour so if there four of you in a group I would get a taxi it will work out about the same price but you will get to San Antonio quicker and no queues.
