Grindelwald is simply one of the most beautiful places on earth. The winter skiing is amazing, and in summer, the hiking and biking is epic. The village is really pretty, exactly what the mind imagines when picturing quaint, chocolate-box Switzerland. Then there's the mountains: I will never forget the peaks of Jungfrau and the Eiger soaring over me. The skiing suits intermediates more than experts craving black runs, but overall, what a fantastic place for a holiday all year round!
