Oludeniz
The only locals you are likely to encounter on holiday in Oludeniz, Turkey’s popular Mediterranean resort, are those catering for the hordes of tourists that congregate in this scenic spot every season. The magnificent lagoon and long beach serve not only Oludeniz itself, but also visitors staying at Hisaronu on the cliffs above; many ofmore
OLUDENIZ - Sally & Dennis Kelly. Date of travel: Jul 2011
Great place, plenty of eateries to choose from loads to do - can highly recommend Billy's Beach, Jeep Safari (we booked with Hanibal Tours and had a fantastic time) and 12 Island Boat Trip. Also recommend Anfora restaurant on main pedestrian drag and Kings Garden in Fethiye. They come and collect and take you back - the food is great and situated just below the Rock Tombs. You can walk up to the Tombs just as the sun is setting - very romantic. (phone:90 536 510 64 62 - your otel will prob. phone for you to book) We stayed at Blue Lagoon - lovely place, smashing staff, food good, rooms excellent - hope to return. will be going back , hopefully soon.

A nightmare destination for any thinking person - James Britland. Date of travel: Aug 2010
Never been anywhere more depressing and I have seen the world. Think pebble beach, fat, pink pasty and trashy Brits, lousy food, hideous service, sub par hotels, 50 degrees and all at the same price as the Amalfi coast ! Can't wait to leave.
Oludeniz - paul, shelley hollie & kieran. Date of travel: Aug 2010
Was a lovely resort although the twice we went - one was straight to bills beach, and the other it was 50 odd degrees so was far too hot to have a good look, and only sat on the beach, will be returning next year and would like to go in the evening.
I love oludeniz - Dani. Date of travel: Aug 2010
There was 9 in our party, with ages ranging from 6 to 64 years old! And there was something for everyone! Loved that everything is within walking distance, so no relying on taxis and public transport. The beach is lovely to go down and watch the sunset as the paragliders land along the prom. We found some great restaurants (captain hook's, cloud 9, buffalo steakhouse and one that served italian, thai and indian cuisine on the front to the left if you're looking at the beach) Shadows bar was great, we always went there for our first drink of the night, and they would often have a table set up ready for us, and drinks took seconds to arrive! The trip to Fethiye market was good fun, all the guys looking for banter and bartering, but you can quite easily just walk away after saying no if you're not interested. Loved it so much, we are heading back in July this year!
Never got there - Alan. Date of travel: Jul 2010
Pictures look really nice but thanks to the people who run the hotel we never got to see it.
Olu deniz was excellent - Denis, Sara and Alfie. Date of travel: Jul 2010
There are lots of restaurants and bars and the beach is beautiful. Locals are really friendly. I would recommend going there.
Oludeniz - The most beautiful resort - Mira and Imdad. Date of travel: Apr 2010
It was our first trip to Olu Deniz. We were going to go to Dalaman, but our English friends who go to Olu Deniz every year suggested for us to go there instead, and we did. It was so beautiful there and the local hospitality was unbelievable. It is something you will NEVER experience in Jean and Dave's country. We feel that all Blackpool lovers should be barred from coming to Turkey. They should stay there and eat 'fish & chips', and drink 20 pints of beer each day in that 'rip-off ' country.
Oludeniz - Jean and dave. Date of travel: Mar 2010
My trip to Oludeniz was without doubt the worst holiday I have ever been on . Food was rubbish very greasy and overpriced. We were pestered day and night by street venders selling their cheap nasty holiday tack. It was far too hot that we were unable to do anything during the day. The hotel was dirty and smelt of the food cooked yesterday. My advice: go to Blackpool
We loved Oludeniz - Brian. Date of travel: Aug 2009
Oludeniz - Very hot, 46˚C some days. Advise Alibabas jeep safari, ages 6-46, and we all had a scream from 8.30am till 7.30pm. We hired a boat for party of 17, only cost £200 all day including cooked lunch and brilliant day out. Many nice restaurants, average £24-30 for 3 course meal for 4 of us. We are going back next year as it was so good.
Oludeniz, best place in Turkey... - Sophie, Jayne & Clive. Date of travel: Jul 2009
Oludeniz, best place in Turkey...
Oludeniz is ideal for any type of holiday. If you just want a relaxing break it is great! A few nice restaurants: Buffalo Bar (not cheap but our best meal), Josephs & Buzz Bar. Crusoes the club is also great early hours if your wanting a lively night out. The beach is lovely to sit on at night with a Hubbly Bubbly on the bean bags! The views are amazing and the people so friendly! If you fancy somewhere a bit more lively Hisonaru is only a short bus ride away.
Olu Deniz - Steve and Catherine. Date of travel: Jun 2009
Olu Deniz is a real gem. If you like nightlife, you will find it. If you like a quiet restaurant, you will find it. If you like activities, you will find them or if you want peace and quiet with the sound of warm, crystal clear waters lapping on the beach, you've guessed it. We shall be back next time, sooner rather than later. Splendid.
Jean & Dave - where did you go? - Mike. Date of travel: Jun 2009
I can't believe that Jean & Dave are writing about the Olu Deniz that I have visited for the last 5 years. Too hot in March? Nothing but greasy food? I would suggest YOU should definitely go to Blackpool where the weather will suit you.
I love Oludeniz - Wendy and Michelle. Date of travel: Jul 2008
I love Oludeniz
There is paragliding in oludeniz if you are daring enough to do it the shopping centre is good you can get a bus to Hisaronu and Fethiye which run every few minutes so if you want to adventure to the markets which you must go for the experience of the haddling of the bargains handbags leatherware gold and everything you can think of. I can't write anything bad about Oludeniz because I haven't experienced anything yet and this is my 4th year now.
I Love Oludeniz... Didnt want to come home - Sophie. Date of travel: Jul 2008
My first time in Turkey was July this year and I absolutely loved it, expeically Oludeniz. I never imagined that a country could be so Beautiful. The Turkish are so nice and friendly. Our hotel was spotless and we had the maid in everyday laying rose petals on the bed. I am going back to Turkey again next year but for 2 weeks. It's the most stunning country I have visited yet. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Oludeniz is a busy a nice and beautiful place
Oludeniz has all you need it has a nightlife (just not too much) it has shops and really good restaurants (Help beach Lounge). The only down side I can think of is the Turkish culture missing from Oludeniz.
Oludeniz is beautiful - Bev, Tony, Kirsty, Patrick. Date of travel: Jun 2008
Oludeniz is beautiful
Oludeniz caters for everyone there are lots of places to go and its easy to get to the next town hisaronu for the extra shops bars and restaurants. I have been going with my family every year for the past 10 years and we still enjoy it as much as the first time. The smaller beaches are much nicer than the main beach, best hotel: Flamingo.
Where to eat - D, J, J, J, B. Date of travel: Oct 2007
Best place to eat in Oludeniz was Captain Hook fantastic and a meal for everyone only problem was being pested by the Turks asking you to eat in their restaurant. A firm no thank you worked. The gents in our party went paragliding. Go with Focus, they don't rip you off and have great pilots.

Best place ever! - Terry, Carole, Vicky and April. Date of travel: Jul 2007
We were apprehensive about going to Turkey, but we can honestly say it was the best place we have ever been. We could not find a fault anywhere. The Hotel Karbul Sun - very clean, excellent staff, superb food.
Best holiday in years - Dave. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Oludeniz is full of friendly people and not at all pushy, best food and service was definitely provided at Cloud 9, right on the front, good menu and will also cook anything you can describe as long as they can get the ingredients. Have a pizza, they are superb and if you are hungry you won't be disappointed with the size. The wraps were also great value or for a snack option try their omelettes. If really hungry the T-bone is the crowning glory but ask for it to be finished with garlic butter (it is the best I have tasted).
Great place to stay - Dawn Harris. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Oludeniz was a great place to stay with the blue lagoon beach in walking distance. With beautiful markets and restaurants so near. If you wanted a bit of night life it was a five minute bus journey away. with clubs going until 6 in them morning. Although on Oludeniz beach there are bean bags, where you can chill out and relax through into the evening great memory. I suggest you go on the jeep safari a whole day of fun seeing turkey and doing a lot along the way. Going to a natural mud bath was amazing. Considering we had a meal and was out from 8 until 7 its was great value.
Oludeniz is paradise - Diane, Jess. Date of travel: May 2007

Quiet and Relaxation - P & G Hurley. Date of travel: Oct 2006
Oludeniz is a wonderful scenic resort, ideal for unwinding and relaxing. Don't expect the high life, but a good assortment of bars and restaurants. All very accommodating, and something to suit everyone.
I loved Oludeniz - Dan Evans. Date of travel: Aug 2006
It was your typical holiday in Turkey with people trying to grab you into restaurants. I always went to the hippyshake bar. Cas was the main dude there, had a rite good laugh with him every day. I went with my girlfriend and a couple of nights i took her to the a'la carte restaurant were we enjoyed a 5* meal. We went on a boat trip, it was really beautiful. We really enjoyed everything about it - the people and the resort, going back next year and cant wait.
Great Place - Molly. Date of travel: Aug 2006
