Breckenridge
The discovery of gold first drew 19th century pioneers to the magnificent high mountain valley of Breckenridge in Colorado. The gold reserves eventually dried up, but Breckenridge is still drawing the crowds, except now they come to holiday in Breckenridge for the “white gold”: the powder snow that people use for all kinds of funmore sports. The town of Breckenridge is quaint with a short main street crammed with all manner of tempting tourist facilities.
